"Kick Off"
With roughly 50% of all marriages ending in divorce I feel that that marriage is a very discouraging opportunity that really isn't and opportunity at all based on the current laws and flaws of the United States legal system. Usually, everyone has the best intentions when they say "I do", but evidently they do not always follow through on those good intentions. I was one of those unfortunate or fortunate people that sustained a dissolved marriage. Now my primary goal in life is to raise a awesome daughter that is self sufficient, respectful, and is full of integrity. Man, what a chore!
I hope whomever reads this post sees the value in the ideas, thoughts, and underlining objective to raise a stronger society by creating equality in opportunity and responsibility amongst genders, race, ages, etc... in divorced parents and society.
Background of author:
Currently, I am an ambassador of financial information (accountant) for one of the United States top 5 largest cooperatives and also own my own small business. I have been in the financial marketplace for almost a decade and have had financial/business exposure to the governmental, not-for-profit, and cooperative environments. I am not an attorney, thank God! I am a divorced father of one, that hopes to reduce the gap in gender, race, and age inequality amongst U.S. citizens by raising awareness of the inequalities of the basis in our current culture, as well as, provide solutions to these current flaws.
In my next blog post I will cover that history of equal rights in the United States by gender and travel down the path to answer the question of "Who's the deadbeat now"?
Sincerely,
Doug
